Specifies the default
drawing template that is used when you create a new drawing.
Access Methods
Menu: Tools
Options (Options dialog
box, User Preferences tab)
Shortcut menu: Right-click
in the command window, or (with no commands active and no objects
selected) right-click in the drawing area, and click Options.
Command entry: optionsList of Options
The following options
are displayed.
- Use AutoCAD 2011’s default drawing template file

Designates acad.dwt as the default drawing
template file.
- Use my existing drawing template file

Designates the drawing
template file of your choosing.
- Use the default drawing template file based
on my industry and unit format

Specifies the default
drawing template file based on the industry selected on the Specify
Industry page and a unit value of Imperial (Feet and Inches) or
Metric.
